FAQ'S

Once I join, do I have to go to meetings?
     - No, but you are always welcome to attend our meetings. Your participation and engagement is                  important to us.

Do I have to volunteer or spend a lot of time at school? 
     - Nope! Joining the PTO is not the same as volunteering. 

       If you choose to volunteer, we would LOVE the help because your support can make things better,           but volunteering is completely optional.

If I want to volunteer and help out at the school, do I need to go through a background check?

- Yes, in efforts to keep our students, staff, teachers, parents and volunteers safe, it is a PISD requirement. You can find the link on our homepage.

Can I gain access to the PTOs budget and see how my membership fees and sponsorships are used?

- Absolutely, as a member you can have access to the PTO budget.

What are the key reasons I should join again?

- Joining our PTO means you become part of a team committed to supporting our students, staff, and school. We work together to enrich the school curriculum and students' middle school experiences by organizing events, raising funds and engaging with the community to meet our goals.
